O MOUNTAINS. NO SNOW. NO WORRIES. A fun- loving crowd is never deterred from donning snow boots and ski wear for the annual Ski Plano fund- raising event. This year was no exception. Some 700 people trekked to Southfork Ranch for a live and silent auction, musical entertainment, lovely dinner, and an avalanche of fun. By the end of the evening, $251,000 was netted for the PISD Education Foundation. Nearly $60,000 of that amount was raised during the live auction. The top item of the night was a “Top Gun Flight Experience” purchased by four high-flying winners— mavericks all. The package included a ride in a restored Russian Fighter Jet.
