Photo/Glenn Callison Plano announced that Baylor alum and longtime Plano resident Glenn Callison will serve as the chairman of their advisory board. Jerri Garison, president of Baylor-Plano, said, “i have en-joyed working with Glenn in the past and look forward to working with him in his new role as chair-man. He has displayed leadership and brought meaningful ideas to the table that have helped us in our pursuit to provide quality healthcare to our community.” Callison is the chairman and chief executive officer of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C., a Texas commercial law firm with offices in Dallas, Houston and austin. He has previously served on the Plano education foundation and Plano YMCa boards. He is currently active as a Baylor Health Care System foundation board member, Public affairs Chair for naioP north Texas, and legislative affairs Chair for The real estate Council. Presidential Scholars for four days of awards ceremonies, leadership workshops, and galas in Washington, D.C. The highlights of the week were a private ceremony with President obama in the White House and a performance at the John f. Kennedy Center for the Performing arts. austin Taylor, a recent graduate of St. Mark’s School of Texas, was recognized for his out-standing performance on the saxophone; austin Goodwin and ida Saki, both graduates of Booker T. Washington School of Performing arts, excel in dance. for the past 46 years, the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program has honored our nation’s most distinguished high school seniors. The scholars in the arts are chosen based on outstanding scholar-ship and demonstrated ability and accomplishment in the visual, literary, and performing arts.
